Looking for a more sophisticated summer computer camp for your teenager? Digital Media AcademyTM is more professional, more fun, more challenging and more rewarding. Our summer camp instructors are highly qualified professionals with a passion for working with teens. We use only high-end computers (one per attendee) and the same software used at companies like Lucas Films, Pixar and Electronic Arts. As the only summer computer camp accredited by Stanford University, we maintain a very high standard of excellence that comes through in everything we do.
A Premium Summer Camp Experience
Digital Media AcademyTM is more expensive for a reason. We believe that passionate and successful professionals make the best teachers. We don’t hire college students to teach our classes and we use high-end computers and software - you won’t find this in other summer computer camps. Don’t just take our word for it though. See what our teen attendees are saying. “I have never had such individual and personal training with instructors this knowledgeable!” and “DMA is by-far the best media camp I have every attended or heard of, I highly recommend it to anyone.”

Unique Classroom Experience
Our summer camp instructors are passionate about working with youth and have years of relevant experience. We employ award-winning filmmakers and artists, master teachers and certified Apple, Adobe and Autodesk professionals. All of our camps are project-based, meaning your son or daughter completes a real world project under the guidance of one of our professionals.
Safe Environment
We take safety very seriously at the Digital Media AcademyTM! We run criminal and sex offender background checks on all our residential and classroom staff. Our live-in residential staff are all adults over 21 years of age who have been trained in CPR. At both the University of Texas and Stanford University, we have access to campus health care in the event of an emergency. All our Youth Activities Coordinators carry cell phones and can be easily reached.

Positive Environment
While promoting a pre-college experience for our teen participants, we strictly enforce a “no-adult oriented content” policy for computer and video games as well as for the internet.
The Overnight Camp Experience
Our summer camp programs are held on prestigious college campuses, including Stanford University and The University of Texas at Austin. Students may commute or stay on campus in university housing. All DMA teens are housed together in doubles or triples, separate from adult participants. DMA Youth Activity Coordinators live with the teens in the dorm. DMA's residential staff coordinate evening and weekend activities while ensuring a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Teens living on campus receive breakfast, lunch and dinner in a university dining hall. Commuting students may purchase a dining hall lunch pass or buy their own lunch at one of several restaurants on campus.

Separate Classroom & Residential Staff
Separate residential and classroom staff means a better experience for your teenagers. Our classroom teachers and course assistants spend the day in the classroom with our teens. Our live-in Youth Activities Coordinators are there fulltime during evenings and weekends for our residential campers. This approach assures our staff are fresh and motivated each day. You won’t find this arrangement at other major computer camps.
Evening and Weekend Activities
Our programs provide an excellent opportunity for students to explore the campus and surrounding area while making new friends. In the evening, teens staying overnight may return to the classroom to work on course projects, hang out in the dormitory, or participate in an organized activity. Organized activities include group sports, exploring the campus, and trips to nearby entertainment venues, such as movie theaters, bowling alleys, miniature golf courses or arcades.
For teens staying for more than one week, weekend packages include housing, dining and activities. Weekend activities vary depending upon the interests of students staying for the weekend. Possible activities include professional sporting events, amusement parks, touring nearby cities and more.
